Welcome to Pantry Note — a pantry-first English-language recipe blog edited from a kitchen where the pantry does most of the work. Our tested recipes lean on the staples you probably already have: good olive oil, a can of tomatoes, a head of garlic, a box of pasta, and one or two fresh ingredients you picked up on the way home.

Every recipe is tested at least three times, photographed in natural light, and written so a home cook on a weeknight can actually pull it off. We don't love ingredient lists that read like a grocery spreadsheet. We love a plan you can keep in your head.

What kind of recipes do you post?
Pantry-first weeknight meals, Italian-leaning pasta, comfort food, simple breads, and the occasional dessert. If it needs a weekend, specialty equipment, or a grocery run we'll say so at the top.
Where do the photos come from?
Every photo is shot in our kitchen — natural window light, one lens, no retouching beyond exposure. If a dish isn't visually interesting, we don't photograph it.
Can I adapt a recipe for dietary needs?
Usually yes. Every recipe page has a "Tips & variations" section covering vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free swaps when they work. If a change meaningfully alters the recipe, we'll say so.
How can I support the blog?
